Window Cleaning
Services
The day we arrive to clean your windows this is our procedure:
We begin by removing all your screens and marking them for the room they came out of.
Dry brushing your screens is always included. If you would like your screens washed we can do this for a minimal fee. We scrub both sides with a soft bristle brush using biodegradable soap, rinse them and put them aside to dry.
On the outside, we clean your windows with a soft strip washer and a very concentrated, biodegradable solution called “Glass Gleam 4”. This solution won’t harm your plants, pets or the “fishies” in the lake.
Then if needed a wide scraper is used to get the tough spots off the glass like paint overspray, bug marks, sap, etc.
After thoroughly rewetting the window with a strip washer and soap, we squeegee the water off and towel dry around the pane where the water collects.
Finally we whip out a piece of fine steel wool for touch-up.
When possible we use our Reverse Osmosis Water Fed Pole which does a great job on the outside windows and also clean the frames, and keeps our feet on the ground!
Inside we clean your windows with a spray bottle, squeegee and clean cloths.
We wipe all the tracks and windows sills paying attention to detail just as we did on the outside.
We always put booties on our shoes when we come inside your home.
To finish up we will walk around your home to double check the windows and put all of your furniture back in its place.
If you are not home when we finish (about 80% of my clients are not) I will leave you an invoice and a self addressed stamped envelope and you can mail me a check.
Ball Park Pricing
When it comes to pricing window cleaning services its difficult to simply say “our price is X” on every window. In most cases I’ll need to actually see the job to give a truly accurate estimate, but none the less I like to post pictures on my website to give you my prospective customer an idea about my pricing.
